Getting Curious About What Feels Good
A quiet starting point for noticing what you enjoy, making room for curiosity, and moving at your own pace.
Notice what you already enjoy
Think about one moment this week when you felt at ease in your body. Maybe you stretched after waking up, stepped into a warm shower, or put on a song you love. What made that moment feel like yours?
Start with what’s familiar. You might enjoy warmth, quiet, movement, or time with the door closed. Paying attention gives you a better starting point than guessing what you’re supposed to like.
Make room for a small experiment
Choose one thing to change next time you take a moment for yourself. Try a different playlist, softer lighting, or a few minutes with your phone in another room. Keep whatever feels good to you.
Give yourself permission to stop or switch things up. You can be curious about an experience and decide it isn’t for you.
Ask yourself what you want today
Your preferences can feel different after a long day than they do on a slow morning. Before you begin, check in with yourself. You might want comfort, playfulness, or simply a little rest.
One thing to try
Finish this sentence for yourself: “I feel most at ease when…” Keep the answer as simple as it comes.
